Miracle and Healing Crusades Jan 2006, with Rev. Sammy Egboh
The Indian Miracle and Healing Crusades have come and gone, but the people of Kallakurichi shall never remain the same again. A city that is well known for its Hindu and animist traditions was invaded with the message of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ between the 20th and 24th of January 2006. The results are a testimony that Jesus is Alive, and that India belongs to our God.

Although nobody wants to preach in such an area, but the Spirit of the Lord helped this ministry to take up the challenge and lived up to our duty to go to the nations of the earth. The programmes began with our gospel invasion praying team tagged ‘JESUS ARMY’. These dedicated soldiers of Jesus began to cover each day with prayers and intercession that satanic strongholds will fall in Tamilnadu and souls of Men receive the light of Jesus. In fact the prayers continued in Germany even while God’s servant, Rev. Sammy was ministering in India.

With his team, Rev. Sammy entered India and began on the note of apostolic intercessions. They declared authoritatively that India is for Jesus. God's throne was petitioned for the souls of men in the nation, particularly in the state of Tamilnadu and in the city of Kallakurichi. The team invoked their apostolic right to take over the nation of India for the kingdom of our God and His Christ. Territorial demons and wicked devils operating through witches and sorcery were dethroned with uncompromising urgency and satan was forbidden from using any man to forment any kind of trouble.

And so the open air crusade began exactly in the evening of 20th of January. This continued on the 22nd and ended in the evening of 23rd of January. It was indeed awesome. Local worship teams were on hand to lead the people into the presence of God. Tamil which is the local language is so wonderful to use in praising God. It was like angels were singing in a spiritual tongue to worship God. The aura of God could be felt in a very thick way throughout these events. It was in fulfillment of the prophetic word God gave us that ‘His glory will come down in India’.

In this bliss of God’s glory and anointing, Rev. Sammy ministered and shared the word of salvation. The overall title was God’s original plan. The key note in all of his preaching was that God is not responsible for the miseries seen in the world today. Sickness and diseases are not God’s plan for Man. Under a mighty utterance and boldness he kept proclaiming that God’s plan for mankind is freedom and dominion.

In addition to this great utterance, the Holy Spirit gave witness to the Word of His servant with mighty demonstrations and healings. Hundreds of people gave their lives to Jesus. Miracles were of many different kinds. Demonized people were delivered as the devils left their bodies with great cries and violence. A 50 year old blind case was instantly healed as Rev. Sammy prayed for the sick. Many people with diseased ears were instantly healed during the crusades. Tumors disappeared under the mighty anointing of the Holy Spirit. ‘We have never seen it this way’ is what the people began to say.
