Rev. Sammy Egboh is the Pastor and general overseer of Resurrection
Power Ministries International which was founded in 2001. His ministry is a dynamic charismatic ministry where the move of the Spirit of God based on God’s Word is considered essential in the fulfilment of the great Commission.

Born of a humble background, Pastor Sammy is the last born of a family of 6
children. His childhood is somewhat rare in that he was always associated
with the work of God. Right from the tender age of 14, he became the youth
pastor of his local church with an unenviable responsibility of caring over
teenagers. This was the demanding engagement of his life up to the age of
16.

During this defining moment of his life, he constantly had divine visitations
that  influenced his life permanently. It was during one of such visitations
that at the age of 14, like the biblical Samuel, ‘the child’ Sammy received the
call of God into the Great commission by the Holy Spirit. His purpose and
divine destiny to preach the Gospel to his generation has begun.

In 1993, God called Rev. Sammy to go into full-time ministry. In 1995, God
released him into the international mission field with an apostolic unction
and led him to Germany. Indeed, his work in Germany has been driven by a
strong desire and focus to preach the whole Gospel. It is common to hear
from people how they had met him in the public tram, sharing the Good
News. As a missionary, God has used His servant, to plant and establish
several churches even in German cities where some had tried to
discourage him that the Gospel can never prosper. Also, he is deeply
involved in prison social ministry.

Reverend Sammy is a highly motivated and anointed preacher with signs
and wonders following his ministry. He is an astute teacher of the word and
a well-respected and beloved Pastor. Every now and then he says ‘my
passion has always been to see the sick healed, and I remember as a
young Christian tears used to run down my eyes when I see the sick in
church and nobody to heal them’. It is this passion that continually drives
him to hunger for God’s power, to seek God in His word and in protracted
periods of prayerful communion. No wonder the mission statement is Luke 
4:18-19.

As a healing Evangelist, his key scriptures are Heb 13:8, John 14:12 , Matt.
10: 1 v 7-8 and mark 16:17-18. His discovery that if Jesus is the same today,
He will do the same thing He did in the bible has brought a great release to
his ministry. Great miracles are witnessed daily in his ministry as a result,
ranging from the cure of AIDS, Hepatitis C, Diabetes and Tuberculosis;
tumours and cancers dissolving; the crippled and paralysed healed, and
all manners of diseases and demonic oppressions are being healed.
